Captain Reverend Mother gathers writing and reflection from Cynthia Kane, an ordained minister and a Captain in the U.S. Navy Chaplain Corps, who finds the sacred in ordinary days.

Cynthia first heard the call to ministry as a child and later found her second calling in military chaplaincy in college. Motherhood arrived later, after a long season of waiting, and the family has continued to grow since.

Here, she writes from the places where devotion, service, loss, and stubborn love tend to overlap.
