Captain Reverend Mother is a gathering place for writings and reflections by Cynthia Kane — minister, military chaplain, mother, and lifelong seeker of the sacred woven through ordinary life.

An ordained minister and a Captain in the U.S. Navy Chaplain Corps, Cynthia first heard the call to ministry as a child and later found her second calling in military chaplaincy in college. After a season of waiting shaped by illness and hope, motherhood joined her journey, and more recently, the blessings of a growing family through marriage and new life.
